Metanous was founded in the beginning of 2003 by Boris Rogge as a company specializing in system integration using metadata technologies. By using state-of-the-art metadata technologies Metanous solves a large number of technical problems.

 

Metanous uses a versatile group of top IT-professionals (both employees and on a project-by-project basis), through which Metanous can offer its services based on a wide range of technologies.

 

Boris Rogge has over 7 years of experience in web, multimedia, and software technologies. He received his Degree in Computer Sciences from Ghent University in october 1998. In november 2002 he received the Ph.D. degree in applied sciences from Ghent University, Belgium. His Ph.D. thesis was entitled: "Functional Metadata: a software framework for the development of multimedia applciations". From 1998 until 2002 he worked as a researcher at the Multimedia Lab headed by Prof. dr. Rik Van de Walle.
